Hold down the CTRL key and click on the desired overlapping objects.
Click the Break button.
The Break tool is used to Bisect the selected segments at the points where they Intersect in the Trace software.
The Break All Intersections function bisect ALL segments in the design at the points where they intersect with another segment.
The objects will break where they intersected.
Each new segment can now be edited separately, such as deleting the unwanted section and connecting the remaining segments with the Join button.
The Join button will connect the selected segments together as one object in Trace.
The Auto Join Segments button will automatically join adjacent segments together in Trace.
Alternatively, select Edit > Break All Intersections.
All of the intersecting elements in the current design will break where they intersect.
Sometimes Exploding a circuit isn’t sufficient if you need to break an object at a specific spot.
Draw the First Line where you would like to break the object, intersecting it with the Object.
Draw a Second Line where you want to break the object, intersecting it with the other object.
Select the object and the two lines and click the Break button to break them at the intersections.
Delete the unneeded segments and edit as desired.
