Cartridges Involved

This Configuration element involves the following Cartridges.

Note: Not all cartridges are available for all CMC models.

Vertical Adjustment

Select the Tool and Type

Tool Line Too Far Up

If the tool line is applied too far up (as it sat on the board)decrease the Vertical Adjustment to move the tool line down.

  • This is viewed from the front of the mat.

  • The tool line is applied too far up.

  • Decrease the Vertical Adjustment to move the tool line down.

  • When making adjustments, click the plus or minus button at the end of the desired field about five times.

  • Click OK and do another test cut.

  • Check the results of the cut and continue making adjustments until the desired outcome is achieved.

  • The Tool Line will move Down.

Tool Line Too Far Down

If the tool line is applied too far down (as it sat on the board)increase the Vertical Adjustment to move the tool line up.

  • This is viewed from the front of the mat.

  • The tool line is applied too far down.

  • Increase adjust the Vertical Adjustment to move the tool line up.

  • When making adjustments, click the plus or minus button at the end of the desired field about five times.

  • Click OK and do another test cut.

  • Check the results of the cut and continue making adjustments until the desired outcome is achieved.

  • The Tool Line will move up.

Opening Cuts in the Wrong Place Vertically when not cutting the Outside

  • Make sure that the opening itself is being cut in the correct place. 

  • If the opening is cutting in the wrong place Vertically when you are not cutting the outside of the mat, see Vertical Home.
