Remove the Left Panel

  • Disconnect primary airline from the air source.

  • Loosen the backing board stabilizer screws at the bottom back of the panel.

  • Gently push on the panel from the back to loosen it from the double-sided tape holding it in position and remove the panel.

Remove the Control Valve Assembly

  • Unscrew the Control Valve retaining nut holding the base of the Control Valve knob on the Head.

  • Unscrew the Control Valve knob.

  • Go to the back of the Head.

  • If there is a zip-tie on the exhaust hoses, cut the zip-tie.

  • On the back of the head, disconnect the airlines from the Control Valve.

  • Later models have compression fittings as depicted in the photo.

  • To disconnect airline, compress the collar on the end of the fitting and pull the airline out of the fitting; the fittings are not required to be removed from the valve assembly.

  • Earlier models may have barbed fittings.

  • To disconnect, firmly grasp the airline close to end of the fitting and pull/twist the airline.

  • Pull out the Control Valve Assembly.

Replace the Control Valve Assembly

  • Re-attach the airlines to the replacement Control Valve Assembly.

  • Re-fit the Control Valve retaining nut and knob.

  • Tighten as depicted in photos.

Reattach the Left Panel

  • Replace the left panel into position and gently push it back onto the double-sided tape.

  • Tighten the backing board stabilizer screws.

  • Reconnect the air source.

  • The Control Valve Assembly has been replaced.
