The backing board has been damaged and needs to be replaced. These instructions will walk through how to replace it.

Remove Current Backing Board

Loosen the three screws on the back of the backing board stabilizers. Both the left stabilizer and the right one have a set of three screws. Take care to only loosen them, not remove them.

Remove the current backing board. It is held in place with double-sided tape.

Make Sure the AirGlide is Squared

If the AirGlide has not yet been squared, refer to the AirGlide Operations Manual for instructions on how to square it.

Pre-Fit Backing Board

Pre-fit the backing board into the AirGlide. The board should slip in between the Horizontal Rail and the Backing Board Stabilizer.

Make sure that all edges of the backing board line up to the Gantry and the Horizontal Rail.

Reveal Adhesive on Tape

Gently pull the backing board away from the AirGlide frame.

Starting at the bottom, remove the paper covering the adhesive from the double-sided tape.

Once the paper covering has been removed, firmly push the backing board against the length of the gantry to secure the bond of the double-sided tape to hold the backing board in place.

Secure the Backing Board Stabilizers

Retighten the three screws on the each side of the back of the backing board stabilizers.

The backing board has been replaced.
