MatDesigner: MatDesigner Editor: Moving Around Fields and Screens

Click is to click with the left mouse button. Right-click is to click the right mouse button.

Tab: (All) Move to next field or control.
Alt+F4: (All) Closes the current screen.
Shift+Tab: (All) Move to previous field or control.
Ctrl+Tab: (All) Cycle through the tabbed panels.
Shift+Ctrl+Tab: (All) Reverse cycle through tabbed panels.
Up/Down Arrows: (Edit boxes) Increment/decrement current value by .0625 (.1 cm) intervals.
Ctrl+Up/Down Arrows: (Edit boxes) Round to next .25” and increment/decrement current value by .25 (.5 cm) intervals.
Arrows - all: (Work Space) Move (position) an object(s) by .0625 (.1 cm) intervals.
Ctrl+Arrow - all: (Work Space) Round to next .25” and move (position) an object(s) by .25” (.5 cm) intervals.
Shift+Up/Down Arrow: (Work Space) Increment/decrement object height by .0625”(.1 cm) intervals.
Shift+Left/Right Arrow: (Work Space) Increment/decrement object width by .0625” (.1 cm) intervals.
Ctrl+Shift+Up/Down Arrow: (Work Space) Round to nearest .25” and increment/decrement object height by .25” (.5 cm) intervals.
Ctrl+Shift+Left/Right Arrow: (Work Space) Round to nearest .25” and increment/decrement object width by .25” (.5 cm) intervals.
PgUp/PgDn: (Work Space) Cycle through objects if an object is selected; if more than one object is selected then the leader of the objects is cycled.
F1: (Editor) Context sensitive Help.
F4: (Editor) Jump to Positioning edit box on the Alignment Tab.
F5: (Editor) Toggle Dynamic Outsides on/off.
F6: (Editor) Toggle Borders on/off.
F7: (Editor) Toggle Guides on/off.
F8: (Editor) Toggle Positioning function between top layer/bottom layer.
F11: (Editor) Jump to Print Preview (daVinci).
F12: (Editor) Jump to Cut Preview.
F12: (Cut Preview) Jump to Editor.
Delete: (Work Space) Delete selected object(s).
ESC: (Work Space) Unselects object(s).
ESC: (Align Head) Cancels cut operation.
Any Key: (Cut Preview) Aborts the current cutting operation; will cause loss of power to motors.
Spacebar: (Cut Preview) Pause the current cut.
Ctrl+A: (Work Space) Select all objects.
Ctrl+C: (Work Space) Copy selected object(s) into memory (clipboard) without deleting.
Ctrl+D: (Work Space) Unselect Object(s).
Ctrl+S: (Work Space) Save current design to file (same as File > Save Mat).
Ctrl+S: (Cut Preview) Resume cutting after Blade change.
Ctrl+Click: (Work Space) Select more than one object, or unselect an object.
Ctrl+V: (Work Space) Paste last object(s) placed into memory (clipboard) (placed by either a Ctrl+X or Ctrl+C).
Ctrl+X: (Work Space) Cut selected object(s) by deleting and places into memory (clipboard).
Ctrl+Z: (All) Undo.
Shift+Click: (Work Space) Select more than one object, or unselect an object.

Numbers can be entered either in decimal format or as fractions (i.e., 1.5 or 1 1/2).
