Design In MatDesigner, Bring into PathTrace | |
---|---|
In MatDesigner, design a two layer #604 Taos. Save as Path. Open up PathTrace. Open the Taos Path. |
Explode All | |
---|---|
Explode the Taos into the individual lines that can be edited separately. Click Edit > Explode All. |
Delete Object | |
---|---|
Click Trace and Draw Tab. Click Delete Object. Start with the top left corner and delete the small horizontal lines and the small diagonal lines. | |
The lines are deleted. | |
Do the same with the right side, and the two bottom corners. |
Offset Object | |
---|---|
Click the Prep Design tab. Click Offset Object. Click on the topmost diagonal line. Leave the Reveal at .25”. Click to place the new line. | |
Do the same with the right side, and the two bottom sides. Note: User may need to right-click on the bottom diagonal lines for the offset to go in the desired direction. |
Delete Object | |
---|---|
Click Delete Object. Click on the original diagonal lines to delete them. | |
The lines are deleted. | |
Note: It is not actually necessary to remove these lines. By removing them, it makes it clearer which lines are being worked on. |
