Rotate an Opening

Design a mat with two 4x5 (10x13 cm) #101 rectangles in a 16x20 (40x50 cm).

Click on the left opening and click on the Advanced Tab.

Use the slidebar to rotate the opening, or enter 45 for the number of degrees of rotation.

Selected opening is rotated 45 degrees.

Rotate a Group of Objects

Select both openings.

Use the slidebar to rotate both openings, or enter 45 for the number of degrees of rotation.

Each opening rotates 45 degrees individually.

Rotate a Group

With both openings still selected, click Group Selection under Other Options.

The two openings are locked together as a single object (selection handles displayed exaggerated).

Enter 30 for the degrees of rotation.

The grouped opening now rotates as a single object.

Use the slidebar to further rotate the object, and see how this is different from simply selecting the individual openings and rotating them.
