Laying Out Template Shapes to Make a Jersey

You can design your jersey in MatDesigner by bringing over different template shapes, overlapping them, then merging them together to create an opening.

As an example, you can bring in #504 Triangle and rotate it to create the sloped angle along the side. Duplicate the triangle to create the same slope along the other side of the jersey. Add a rectangle for the bottom part of the jersey and overlay the corners of the triangles. Finally, add rectangles to make the top, sleeves and the neck.

Select all of the openings, then Right-Click on them and select Group Selection. This will merge the openings together and create one opening. If they do not merge as expected, Right-Click and select UnGroup Selection and reposition the objects as desired then regroup them.

You can also then bring this design into PathTrace to edit as desired, which is often times easier than trying to design a shape from scratch.
