The Backing Boards are the two sheets of matboard that are placed on the CMC behind the sheet of matboard being cut.

Troubleshooting:
I keep getting random bad cuts.
The Backing Boards should be replaced if there is significant blade scoring to prevent the cutting blade from following previous cuts.
