V-Groove Interior Backup is Too Long

  • If the Interior Backup on the Inside Cut of the V-Groove is cut Too Long, Decrease the Interior Backup.

  • The Interior Backup for V-Grooves controls where the Blade Plunges into the Fallout (not the Matboard) on the Interior Cuts on the Inside Cut of the V-Groove.

  • The Interior Cut is where the Blade Plunges/Retracts from the Fallout (not the Matboard).

    • If the Interior Backup on the Inside Cut of the V-Groove is cut Too Long, Decrease the Interior Backup.

    • If the Interior Backup on the Inside Cut of the V-Groove is cut Too Short, Increase the Interior Backup.

 How to Adjust the Interior Backup

When adjusting Configurations, click the Plus (Increase) or Minus (Decrease) button on the desired field about five times.

Click OK and do another test cut.

Continue making adjustments until the desired outcome is achieved.
