Head Grabber Arm Definition

  • The Head is attached to the Gantry via the Head Grabber Arm which moves vertically on the Gantry via the Gantry Vertical Belt.

  • The Head Wheels are spring-loaded and roll along the grooves in the Gantry.

Connections:

  • The Head Grabber Arm contains the Air Connections between the Head and the Gantry as well as the Head Power Plug.

  • Air Lines are attached matching colors.

    • Red Air Line controls Blade Plunge.

    • Blue Air Line controls Head Lift.

  • On newer models, the Head Assembly Power Cable Strain Relief spanner fits around the Head Power Plug.

  • On the Z1, the M12 Cable is attached between the Head Grabber Arm and the top of the Head.

Troubleshooting:

  • If the matboard is being pushed aside when you try to cut and the Head isn’t actually cutting/plunging, check to make sure that your Air Compressor is on.
