90° Bevel Opening Definition

  • The 90° Bevel Opening is created by cutting a 90° Right Angle into the matboard.

  • The matboard core is hidden from view since there is no Bevel Type cut at a 90° Right Angle.

  • The Bevel Type refers to the angle at which the blade cuts the surface of the matboard when it deviates from the 90° right angle cut.

  • The Bevel Type determines the initial blade plunge position.

 90° Normal Bevel Opening Full Definition

The 90° Bevel Opening is created by cutting a 90° Right Angle into the matboard.

The matboard core is hidden from view since there is no Bevel Type cut at a 90° Right Angle.

The Bevel Type determines the initial blade plunge position.

Select Normal Bevel or Normal Bevel-Front of Mat from the Current Bevel Type dropdown control to edit this configuration.

 How to Adjust the Configurations

When adjusting Configurations, click the Plus (Increase) or Minus (Decrease) button on the desired field about five times.

Click OK and do another test cut.

Continue making adjustments until the desired outcome is achieved.
