V-Groove Interior Overcut Definition

  • The V-Groove Interior Overcut controls where the Blade Retracts from the Fallout (not the Matboard) on the Interior cuts of the Inside Cut of the V-Groove. The initial plunge position is determined by the bevel type.

  • The Interior Cut is where the Blade Plunges or Retracts from the Fallout (not the Matboard).  

 V-Groove Interior Overcut Full Definition

The V-Groove Interior Overcut controls where the Blade Retracts from the Fallout (not the Matboard) on the Interior cuts of the Inside Cut of the V-Groove. The initial plunge position is determined by the bevel type.

The Interior Cut is where the Blade Plunges or Retracts from the Fallout (not the Matboard).  

If the Interior Overcut on the Inside Cut of the V-Groove is cut Too Long, Decrease the Interior Overcut on V-Grooves.

If the Interior Overcut on the Inside Cut of the V-Groove is cut Too Short, Increase the Interior Overcut on V-Grooves.

The V-Groove Interior Overcut field is marked with a White Arrow on the Configurations screen and the Map illustration.

 How to Adjust the Configurations

When adjusting Configurations, click the Plus (Increase) or Minus (Decrease) button on the desired field about five times.

Click OK and do another test cut.

Continue making adjustments until the desired outcome is achieved.
