Click Edit > Cut (Ctrl+X) to cut the current selection from the editor.
Cut is similar to Delete in that it removes the object from the Editor. With Cut, the object can be easily retrieved by clicking Paste (Ctrl+V).
Select the object.
Select Edit > Cut (Ctrl+X).
The object is Cut from the design.
