Take Snapshot

The Snapshot section allows the user to save several different Snapshot variations of the project which can then be displayed on the screen for comparison.

 Snapshot Definition

In Visualize, the user can create a design and take a Snapshot of it.

The user can Compare all of the Snapshots taken, side-by-side, to show the customer for them to select the desired project.

See: Compare all Snapshots Function

  • Create the desired project and go to the Preview tab.

  • Click the Take Snapshot button to save a snapshot of the current project.

  • Return to the Frames and Fillets tab or the Mats and Fillets tab and make new selections for the project.

  • Return to the Preview tab and take new Snapshots. Continue in this fashion until you are ready to compare the design snapshots together so that the customer can decide which design they want to go with.

Snapshots

  • Each Snapshot taken is displayed as a thumbnail in the Snapshot preview section. Use the scrollbar to scroll through the snapshots if more than four Snapshots have been taken.

  • For information on comparing the different Snapshots, see Snapshot Viewer.

  • After selecting the desired project from the Snapshot Viewer, you can reload it into the editor by clicking Set Current.
