Editing the Oval Rotation on Openings

 Oval Rotation Definition

The Oval Rotation controls for Feathers or Bumps on an Oval Opening.

 Feather Definition

A Feather in an Oval Opening is a Fringe of material left behind where the cut started and ended.

The Oval Rotation controls for Bumps or Feathers on an Oval Opening.

If the Oval Opening cuts with a Feather, Decrease the Oval Rotation.

 Bump Definition

A Bump in an Oval Opening is a Lump of material left behind where the cut started and ended.

The Oval Rotation controls for Bumps or Feathers on an Oval Opening.

If the Oval Opening cuts with a Bump, Increase the Oval Rotation.

Adjusting the Oval Rotation

  • To adjust, click Plus/Minus on the desired field about five times.

  • Click OK and do another test cut.

  • Continue making adjustments until the desired outcome is achieved.

  • The different Bevel Types, including whether it is cutting from the Front or Back, controls the cut direction of the Head, and determines whether the cut is a Backup or an Overcut.

Oval Opening has a Feather

Problem:

  • Oval Opening has a Feather.

Resolution:
