Cartridges Involved

This Configuration element involves the following Cartridges.

Note: Not all cartridges are available for all CMC models.

Oval Rotation Definition

 Oval Rotation Definition

The Oval Rotation controls for Feathers or Bumps on an Oval Opening.

 Feather Definition

A Feather in an Oval Opening is a Fringe of material left in the opening that shows where the cut started and ended.

 Bump Definition

A Bump in an Oval Opening is a Lump of material left behind where the cut started and ended.

Adjusting the Oval Rotation

  • To adjust, click plus/minus on the desired field about five times.

  • Click OK and do another test cut.

  • Continue making adjustments until the desired outcome is achieved.

Current Bevel Type

Oval Opening has a Feather

Problem:

  • The Oval Openings is cut with a feather.

Resolution:

  • Decrease the Oval Rotation.

Oval Opening has a Bump

Problem:

  • The Oval Openings is cut with a bump.

Resolution:

  • Increase the Oval Rotation.
