Attaching a V-Groove to an Opening or the Outside allows the V-Groove to automatically resize if the attached object is resized. If the V-Groove is Not Attached to anything, the Distance field is grayed out. Note: Offsetting the V-Groove from an object when initially placing the V-Groove does not automatically attach the V-Groove to that object.

Select the V-Groove.
Click the Attach To dropdown control and select the Mat or the specific Opening to attach the V-Groove. Enter the Distance to place the V-Groove from the object it is Attached To in the Distancefield. The V-Groove will resize around the object by the distance entered.

The Attach To function in Designerwill connect the selected Element (V-Groove, Deboss, Pen, Vinyl or Crease) to the Mat or a specific Opening at the Distance specified.If the Mat/Opening is moved/resized, the Element (V-Groove, Deboss, Pen, Vinyl or Crease) will automatically move and resize in relationship to the Mat/Opening at the distance specified.
