Tape Measure Sizes

  • The Width is displayed on the Horizontal line of the Measuring Tape.

  • The Height is displayed on the Vertical line of the Measuring Tape.

  • The Distance is measured between Point 1 and Point 2 and displayed on the Diagonal line

Snapping Points of the Measuring Tape

  • Click and drag the Measuring Tape control point to a Control Point of the desired object (side/corner) and let it Snap.

  • Click and drag the other Measuring Tape control point to the next object and let it snap.

  • The Measurements between each of the triangular points are displayed on the Measuring Tape.

  • The control point of the Measuring Tape will turn red when snapped to another object.

  • The Measuring Tape will remain snapped to the object even if you move or resize the object.

Unsnapping the Measuring Tape From the Objects

  • To unsnap the Measuring Tape from an object, click on one of the lines of the Measuring Tape (not the corners) and drag it to the desired position.

  • Use the Tape Measure Properties to edit the individual proprietary adjustments available for the Tape Measure.

  • Click on the Measuring Tape and click on the Properties Tab. 

  • Optionally, Right-Click on the Measuring Tape and select Tape Measure Properties.

Tape Measure Properties

Tape Measure Points

Info
  • Point 1 and Point 2 are the two control points of the Tape Measure

  • These points are referenced from the bottom-left of the design, which is 0,0.

Point 1 - Tape Measure

Point 1 is the Lower Left point of the Tape Measure.

  • X is the Horizontal position.

  • Y is the Vertical position.

  • Edit the fields to move the Tape Measure point.

Point 2 - Tape Measure 

Point 2 is the Upper Right point of the Tape Measure

  • X is the Horizontal position.

  • Y is the Vertical position.

  • Edit the fields to move the Tape Measure point.
