Cartridges Involved
This Configuration element involves the following Cartridges.
Note: Not all cartridges are available for all CMC models.
Overcut |

Problem:
The Exterior Overcut is applied too short.
This is viewed from the front of the mat.
Resolution:
Increase the Exterior Overcut.
When making adjustments, click the plus button (+) at the end of the desired field about five or six times.
Click OK and do a test cut.
Check the results of the cut and continue making adjustments until the desired outcome is achieved.
The corners will now meet up properly.

The Exterior Overcut is where the cut continues into the corner before retracting the blade from the matboard on the exterior cuts, such as when cutting a rectangle.
Exterior Cuts cut into the matboard, not the fallout.
The Exterior Overcut field is marked with a Red Arrow.
Increase the Exterior Overcut if the Overcut is cut too small.
Decrease the Exterior Overcut if the Overcut is cut too large.
Current Crease Bevel Type
Make sure to select the Crease Cartridge Tab before making adjustments.

The Exterior Overcut is displayed on the Configuration Map and on the associated field as a red arrow.
Check against the Configuration Map of the Crease Cartridge to determine specifically which cuts are the Exterior Overcuts.
Exterior Cuts cut into the matboard, not the fallout.
Problem: Crease Exterior Overcut Too Long
Problem:
The Exterior Overcut is applied too long.
This is viewed from the front of the mat.
Resolution:
Decrease the Exterior Overcut.
When making adjustments, click the minus button (-) at the end of the desired field about five or six times.
Click OK and do a test cut.
Check the results of the cut and continue making adjustments until the desired outcome is achieved.
The corners will now meet up properly.
Problem: Crease Exterior Overcut Too Short
