Placing Matboard When Cutting from the Front

When the

Cutting

Cut Preview screen indicates that the current layer is to be cut from the 

front

Front of the mat, this also determines how to place the matboard onto the CMC.

  • Have

two layers

  • Two Layers of adequate size of disposable matboard under

mat

  • the Mat to be

cut

  • Cut; a

layer

  • Layer can be temporarily removed when cutting thicker matboard.

  • Place the matboard into the left corner of the CMC, making sure that the matboard nestles tightly into the

horizontal

  • Horizontal and

vertical clamps

  • Vertical Clamps.

Cutting From the Front will cut with the face of the mat toward the operator, and can be selected on the Cutting Preview or by cutting a Cut-From-Front element such as a Deboss or V-Groove.
