Breaking an Object in a Specific Spot

Info

  • Sometimes Exploding a circuit isn’t sufficient if you need to break an object at a specific spot.

  • Draw the First Line where you would like to break the object, intersecting it with the Object.

  • Draw a Second Line where you want to break the object, intersecting it with the Object.

  • Select the Object and the two lines and click the Break button to break them where they intersect.

  • Delete the unneeded segments and edit as desired.

tool is used to Bisect the Selected Segments at the point where they Intersect in the Trace software.

The Break All Intersections function bisects ALL Segments in the design where they intersect in the Trace software.
