The Vertical

home defines the global vertical placement of objects cut with the blade cartridges, including V-Grooves. 

Adjust the Vertical

home if the V-Groove is cutting too far up

 (as it sat on the board) when you are not cutting the outside of the mat. This is measured

from the inside of the bevel to the edge of the mat

The V-Groove is cutting too far up, making the bottom border too big.

Decrease the Vertical

home.

When making adjustments, click the plus or minus button at the end of the desired field about five times. Click OK and do another test cut. Check the results of the cut and continue making adjustments until the desired outcome is achieved.

V-Groove is moved down.

Adjust the Vertical

home if the V-Groove is cutting too far down

Increase the Vertical

home.

When making adjustments, click the plus or minus button at the end of the desired field about five times. Click OK and do another test cut. Check the results of the cut and continue making adjustments until the desired outcome is achieved.

The V-Groove moves up.

Alternatively, adjust the Vertical

Home on the Troubleshooting Screen. Make sure that you only have a V-Groove on the screen.
