Resizing the object the Crease is Attached To will resize the Crease to remain the distance entered in the Distance field.

Crease Distance

  • Set the Distance between the Crease and the object it is Attach To. 

  • Select the Crease.

  • Select the opening or mat from the Attach To dropdown control. See Attach To below.

    • Enter the Distance to place the Crease from the object it is attached to

    • Attaching a Crease to an Opening or the Outside allows the Crease to automatically resize if the attached object is resized.

      • The Crease will

    resize around the object by the distance entered.

    • Resizing the object the Crease is attached to will resize the Crease to remain the distance

      • remain the same distance from the Opening/Outside as entered in the Distance field.

    • If the Crease is Not Attached to anything, the Distance field is grayed out.

    • NOTE: Offsetting the Crease from an object when initially placing the Crease does not automatically attach the Crease to that object.

    • Click the Attach To dropdown control and select the Mat or specific Opening to attach the Crease.

    • Enter the Distance to place the Crease from the object it is Attached To in the Distance field.

    • The Crease will resize around the object by the Distance entered.

    Tip

    • Default Settings: See Admin > Editor for the default settings for the default Deboss/Pen/V-Groove/Crease Distance under V-Groove Distance.

    • Changing the Distance will readjust the distance the Crease is placed from the object it is Attached To.

    The Attach To function in Designerwill connect the selected Element (V-Groove, Deboss, Pen, Vinyl or Crease) to the Mat or a specific Opening at the Distance specified.

    If the Mat/Opening is moved/resized, the Element (V-Groove, Deboss, Pen, Vinyl or Crease) will automatically move and resize in relationship to the Mat/Opening at the distance specified.
