  • The Gauge displays the clamp pressure as it is cutting.

    • To adjust the clamp pressure, Pause the current cut.

    • Pull out the black Clamp Pressure Adjustment Knob underneath the Control Panel.

      • Turn the knob Counter-Clockwise to Decrease the pressure, which is what we want to do.

      • Turn the knob Clockwise to Increase the pressure, which you will need to do after cutting the Foam Core.

    • Push the Clamp Pressure Adjustment Knob back in.

    • Now locate the Mat Clamp Pressure Knob on the Control Panel.

    • for CMC’s that include this feature.

    • The Mat Clamp Pressure Knob allows you to switch between Standard and Low Clamp Pressure.

      • Pull the Mat Clamp Pressure Knob Out to use the Lower Clamp Pressure, which we want to do.

      • Push the Mat Clamp Pressure Knob In to use the Standard Clamp Pressure after cutting the Foam Core.

    • If you are having difficulty cutting through the current Foam Core, you could further slow the cutting

    down by entering
    • speed down.

    • Select the desired layer on the Cutting Preview.

    • Click the Cut Speedsbutton to open the Cut Speeds Screen.

    • Enter the desired Cut Speed Percentage for each Cartridge type, such as the 90° Cartridge.

    • Take care not to slow it too much or it might struggle to cut through the material.

      • 100% is cutting at Full Speed.

      • 50% is cutting at Half Speed.  

    • When that particular Cartridge is used next, it will use the new Cut Speed entered.

    • Slowing down the Cut Speed can help when cutting thick material or intricate designs to help prevent the Head from skipping on tight corners.

    • Click OK.
