Apply Borders To

Select Bottom Layer to snap the object’s Bottom layer to the Borders. Select Top Layer to snap the object’s Top layer to the Borders.

Tip
Default Settings: See Admin > Editor for the default settings for the default layer to apply the Borders. See Admin > Defaults for the default settings for the Layer Direction.

When using the Dynamic Outsides, the Apply Borders To controls which layer the Borders are applied to.

Borders set to Bottom Layer will resize the design to the Bottom layer when Dynamic Outsides is used.
Borders set to Top Layer will resize the design to the Top layer when Dynamic Outsides is used.

The Dynamic Outsides feature adds the Border Size to the Bounding Rectangle of the current Group of Openings, adjusting the Outside Size as necessary in Designer and Visualize.
