Click and drag openings to the desired position.
You will see blue alignment lines display when an opening is aligned with a current opening's edges which makes dragging and dropping a quick and easy way to place openings.

Default Settings: See Admin > Defaults for the default settings for the Layer Direction.
Use the Alignment buttons to arrange the position of objects in relation to the bounding rectangle of the selected objects.
