Troubleshooting the Backup/Overcut Display

  • Have a cut design design displayed on the Cut Preview.

  • Note that this feature is only available for the Bladed Cartridges.

  • Using one of the Zoom buttons, zoom in to the desired section of the project where you are having issues cutting.

The Exterior Backup controls where the Blade Plunges into the Matboard on the Exterior cuts of Openings. The

Exterior Backup field is marked with a Green Arrow on the Configuration screen and the Map illustration.

  • This value will be the Sum of the corresponding User Configuration setting and the Factory Configuration setting.

    • The Configuration screen will open to the appropriate Cartridge Tab with the Configuration Field associated to the line clicked highlighted.

    • Now you can easily Increase or Decrease the value displayed, depending upon whether the item selecting is cutting Too Long or cutting Too Short.

    • Click OK and recut the design.

    • Continue adjusting the Configurations until you achieve the desired result.

    Tip
    • To adjust, click Plus/Minus on the desired field about five times.

    • Click OK and do another test cut.

    • Continue making adjustments until the desired outcome is achieved.
