Take Picture

  • Click the Take Picture button to open the Camera Capture screen where you can take a picture from a camera Camera or twain device attached to your computer.

Select Camera

  • On the Camera Capture screen, select the desired camera Camera from the camera dropdown control if there is more than one selection. 

Options

  • Click Options on the Camera Capture screen to view the options Options for the camera selected. 

Rotate Image 180 Degrees

  • Select Options > Rotate Image 180 Degrees to rotate the image 180 Degrees.

  • Click Take Picture on the Camera Capture Screen to take the picture with this setting and it will rotate the image 180 degrees Degrees before placing it on the editorEditor.

Image Resolutions

  • Select Options > Image Resolutions > Select Desired Resolution to set the resolution size Resolution Size for the image you are taking.

    • The largest size is listed at the top.

  • Click Take Picture on the Camera Capture Screen to take the picture with this setting.

Zoom Level

Manually Setting the Color Adjustments Manually

  • Instead of using a color profile Color Profile, you also have the option of adjusting the image manually Camera Settings Manually.

  • To adjust the camera settings manually Camera Settings Manually, have Use Color Profile unchecked. 

  • Move the sliders for the individual settings before taking the photo. Any unavailable webcam settings for your particular camera are grayed out.

Saturation

  • Saturation is the vividness Intensity or Purity of a color’s hue. Saturation measures the degree to which a color differs from a gray of the same darkness or lightness. Color. It is measured as a percentage from 0% (Grayscale) to 100% (Pure Color). A Saturated color is not diluted with White or mixed with other Colors. It is produced by a single wavelength or narrow band of wavelengths of light. Saturation is independent of the lightness level or the surroundings of the Color. As the Saturation Increases, the colors appear to be more Pure. As the Saturation Decreases, the colors appear to be more Washed-Out or Pale.
