The Vectorize Image function allows you to turn a

rastor

Rastor (image) into a

vector

Vector (cuttable format)

and

to be able to Deboss, Pen or cut in Vinyl.

Note that the Vectorizing utility in Trace has additional parameters that can be adjusted if you need more control of how an image is Vectorized.
Vectorizing in Tracealso allows you to cut the finished CutArt as an opening.
