Measuring Tape Properties

Use the Tape Measure Properties to edit the individual proprietary adjustments available for the Tape Measure.

The Tape Measure can be used to measure distances between objects, guides, borders or to the edge of the mat.

  • Click on the Measuring Tape and click on the Properties Tab. 

  • Edit the individual proprietary adjustments available for the Measuring Tape.

  • Optionally, Right-Click on the Tape Measure and select Edit Tape Measure to open the Tape Measure Properties.

Tape Measure Points

Info

  • Point 1 and Point 2 are the two control points of the Tape Measure. 

  • These points are referenced from the bottom-left of the design, which is 0,0.

Point 1 - Tape Measure

Point 1 is the lower left point of the Tape Measure.

  • X is the horizontal position.

  • Y is the vertical position.

  • Edit the fields to move the Tape Measure point.

Point 2 - Tape Measure 

Point 2 is the upper right point of the Tape Measure. 

  • X is the horizontal position.

  • Y is the vertical position.

  • Edit the fields to move the Tape Measure point.

  • The Width is displayed on the horizontal line of the Measuring Tape.

  • The Height is displayed on the vertical line of the Measuring Tape.

  • The Distance is measured between Point 1 and Point 2 and displayed on the diagonal line
