Editor/Work Space

The editor screen contains the functions and features used to place and edit the openings on the mat.

The work space is the visual representation of the mat design being created.

Work Space Display

The work space will display differently depending upon the state of whether you are cutting the outside of the mat.

Cutting the Outside

When cutting the outside, the work space displays a solid color.

When cutting the outside, borders may be less than 1.5” (3.8cm).

Not Cutting the Outside

When not cutting the outside, a 1.5” (3.8cm) the darker uncuttable region is displayed.

When not cutting the outside a 1.5” (3.8cm) minimum border is required so the head does not hit the rail.

When cutting a reverse bevel or cutting from the front, the minimum border next to the rails is 1.5625” (4 cm) from the edge of the mat to the nearest object.

If the mat designed is larger than the CMC can cut, the darker uncuttable region is displayed.
