Group Design Details

  • Hold down the CTRL key and click on the desired elements to select the desired objects.

  • The Group Details section displays information about the selected group of objects.

Design Group Details

X and Y 

  • Displays the X and Y Coordinates of the Bounding Rectangle of the selected group of objects.

 X Position Definition

The X Position field is used to set or display the Horizontal position of the selected object in the Design Editor, Trace and the Cut Preview. 

 Y Position Definition

The Y Position field is used to set or display the Vertical position of the selected object in the Design Editor, Trace and the Cut Preview. 

 Bounding Rectangle Definition

The Bounding Rectangle is a dotted or invisible rectangle that encompasses the outermost boundaries of the selected object(s) in the Design Editor and Trace, and includes Control Points which can be used to edit the object.

Width and Height 

  • Displays the Width and Height of the selected group of objects.

    • You can enter a new Width/Height to scale the design.

 If the Width and Height Fields are Grayed Out

If any Fragments are selected (unenclosed objects), the Width and Height fields are grayed out.

 Fragments Definition

A Fragment is an object in Trace that is not enclosed, such as a series of Lines, Arcs, Curves, or if the design has been Exploded.

Objects 

  • The number of Objects contained within the group of selected objects.

 Objects Definition

All design Elements are Objects which make up a Design.

An Object is an Opening, V-Groove, or other single selectable item in the Design Editor, Trace and Visualize.
