Aligning Openings shows the different ways to align openings in the Nesting software. |
Alignment Lines | |

Click and drag openings to the desired position. You will see blue alignment lines display when an opening is aligned with a current opening's edges which makes dragging and dropping a quick and easy way to place openings. This is similar to the Auto Align Openings in Design and Auto Align Circuits in Trace. | |
Using the Alignment Buttons | |

Hold down the CTRL key and click on two or more objects to activate the Alignment Buttons. These work just like the Alignment Buttons in FrameShop Designer editor. | |
Align to Left Edge | |
|---|---|
The Align to Left Edge button will align the selected openings to the left-most edge of the selection. | |
This is similar to the Align to Left Edge in Design. | |
Align to Right Edge | |
|---|---|
The Align to Right Edge button will align the selected openings to the right-most edge of the selection. | |
This is similar to the Align to Right Edge in Design. | |
Align to Bottom Edge | |

The Align to Bottom Edge button will align the selected openings to the bottom-most edge of the selection. | |
This is similar to the Align to Bottom Edge in Design. | |
Align to Top Edge | |
