Aligning Openings

  • Aligning Openings shows the different ways to align openings in the Nesting software.

Alignment Lines

  • Click and drag openings to the desired position. 

  • You will see blue alignment lines display when an opening is aligned with a current opening's edges which makes dragging and dropping a quick and easy way to place openings. 

Using the Alignment Buttons

  • Use the Alignment buttons to arrange the position of objects in relation to the bounding rectangle of the selected objects.

Align to Left Edge

  • Select two or more openings.

  • Click Align to Left Edge button.

  • The selected openings will align to the left-most edge of the selection.

Align to Right Edge

  • Select two or more openings.

  • Click Align to Right Edge button.

  • The selected openings will align to the right-most edge of the selection.

Align to Bottom Edge

  • Select two or more openings.

  • Click Align to Bottom Edge button.

  • The selected openings will align to the bottom-most edge of the selection.

Align to Top Edge

  • Select two or more openings.

  • Click Align to Top Edge button.

  • The selected openings will align to the top-most edge of the selection.
