  • Enter the number of strips to cut in the # of Mats field.

  • Make sure that the Sheet Size is large enough to accommodate the number of strips, otherwise they will roll over to the next mat which is displayed in the Total Sheets field.

  • Select Shared Edge for the Cut Mode.

    • Not all CMCs have this feature.

    • It will only cut the shared edges of the blanks and not the outside factory edge.

  • In this example, remember to rotate Finger Clamp number 3 before cutting.

    • Finger Clamp number 3 is highlighted in red to indicate it will be in the way when cutting and will need to be rotated out of the cutting area.

  • Make sure that your Outside cuts will use the 90° in the Set Advanced Options

  • Cut the mats.

    • Depending upon the thickness of the Foamcore, you may need to remove one of the backing sheets.

  • Remember to select the appropriate Blade Depth for the foam being cut.

  • Adjust the Mat Clamp Pressure as necessary to avoid crushing the foam.
