  • Use the Cut the Outside toggle to select Cutting or Not Cutting the Outside of the mat.

  • Click the Cut Outside toggle On to cut the outside of the mat.

  • The outside of the mat will now cut. 

  • Optionally, select Options > Cut Outside.

 Cut the Outside/Not Cut the Outside Definition

  • Cutting or Not Cutting the Outside determines whether the outside edge of the design is cut (at 90° or 45° angles) or left precut, while the inside openings or details are cut as designed. Full Definition

Cut the Outside Off: Cut Preview Toggle

  • Click the Cut Outside toggle Off to not cut the outside of the mat.

  • The outside of the mat will not be cut.
