V-Groove Flare Definition

  • A Flare in a Non-Oval V-Groove is where the corners Curve Away from the opening on either the Outside or Inside Cut of the V-Groove.

  • The Rotation on Non-Oval V-Grooves controls for Swoops or Flares on Non-Oval V-Grooves.

    • If the Outside Non-Oval V-Groove cuts with a Flare, Increase the Outside Rotation.

    • If the Inside Non-Oval V-Groove cuts with a Flare, Decrease the Inside Rotation.
