Cut Layers Stacked |
---|
Use the Cut Layers Stacked toggle to cut and assemble the mats while still in the machine. |
Cut Layers Stacked On | |
---|---|
Click the Cut Layers Stacked toggle to On to use the Cut Layers Stacked feature. The Cut Layers Stacked feature will cut from the top mat down, allowing you to adhere the mats together on the machine as they cut. Once the design is finished cutting, it is also finished being assembled. | |
NOTE: The Stacked Mat feature disables the Cut the Outside function, so you will have to use pre-cut matboard or manually trim it afterwards. |
Cutting a Stacked Mat | |
---|---|
Have a multi-layer design. Click on the Cut Layers Stacked toggle. Click on Cut and Align the Head if necessary. The CMC will prompt the user to place in the top mat, then click OK. After it has cut, the Head and the Gantry move to the right end of the board out of the way, so that the user can adhere the next layer onto the back of the freshly cut mat. Note that the layer you are adhering will not be inserted under the clamps, but will sit just above them. The adherence of the mats is what will hold it in place. Click Cut to cut the next layer. When it has finished cutting, your finished design is assembled. |
Cut Layers Stacked Off | |
---|---|
Click the Cut Layers Stacked toggle Off to allow the user to cut the layers separately, to be assembled after cutting. | |
Click the Cut Layers Stacked toggle Off. The layers will be cut separately and assembled after cutting. |
