Stop Plate Installation: CMC 8000, 8500 Series and the 9000

Install Stop Plate

  • The Stop Plate Installation will help resolve problems with the Gantry bouncing back from the Stop Screw.

Stop Plate

  • Remove the Stop Screw on left side of bottom rail.

Remove the Stop Screw

  • Slide bracket with fastening hardware onto rail.

  • Install the Stop Plate with the screws loose.

  • Slide Gantry to the left against the plate and let go.

  • The Gantry may bounce back a bit – this is normal.

  • Slide Stop Plate so it is square against the Wheel Bar on the Gantry and tighten the screws.

  • Check horizontal home position and adjust if necessary in Configurations.
