Problem/Purpose:

  • The screw that holds the Glide to the bottom of the Footblock has become loose, and is leaving scratches and indents on the surface of the matboard.

Adjusting the Glide Screw

  • The purpose of the Footblock Glide is to float over the matboard.

  • The screw that holds the Glide into position should not protrude beyond the face of the Glide, nor should it be over tightened to the point that it does not allow movement of the Glide.

  • If the Glide is not allowed to float over the matboard, it can mar or scrape the mat and wear unevenly.

  • If the Glide wears unevenly, there could be damage to the matboard surface when cutting a V-Groove.

  • Click the Reset Motors Button to turn off the power to the motors.
