Change to the Pen Cartridge: CMC 9000 and the Z Series
This demonstrates how to remove the current Blade or Non-Blade Cartridge from the Head, and replace it with a Pen Cartridge in the Footblock of the Head.

Make sure the Head is currently in the Aligned position.
Push the Blade Cartridge Release Lever to eject the current Cartridge.
Push the Blade Cartridge Release Lever Down to Eject the Current Cartridge
Place the Pen Cartridge into the Head.
The Pen Holder should be to the right, with the Pen tip facing toward the CMC and the Pen Cartridge locking screw on the top, until it clicks into place.
It can only be inserted one way.
If the Pen is not going to be used for a while, please remove it from the Pen Holder and replace the pen cap to keep the pen from drying out.
Turn the Cartridge Over and Insert it into the Footblock
