Air Clamp Rail

Air Clamp Rail

  • Air Clamp Rails are the clamping components for the 5000, 8000 and 8500 CMC models and use Air Clamps to hold the matboard in place while cutting.

  • There is one Air Clamp in the Vertical Rail and two in the Horizontal Rails.

  • Just before cutting, the Air Clamps will inflate against the matboard to hold it in place while it is cutting.

  • After cutting, the Air Clamps will deflate so you can remove the matboard.

Connections:

  • The Air Clamps sit within the Air Clamp Rails of the 5000, 8000 and 8500 CMC models.

  • There is one Air Clamp in the Vertical Rail and two in the Horizontal Rails.

  • The Air Clamp is controlled by the Air Valve Assembly located in the Gantry and the ECU/Driver Pack signals.
