Reverse Bevel Open V-Groove

  • The Reverse Bevel Open V-Groove involves two symmetrical cuts: one in the fallout and a corresponding cut in the matboard, both forming a mirrored arrangement a specified distance apart. The matboard core is not visible but the lower layer matboard is visible from the front.

  • The Bevel Type refers to the angle at which the blade cuts the surface of the matboard when it deviates from the 90° right angle cut.

    • First Cut: Cuts the Interior cut into the Fallout Clockwise: Reverse Bevel Drop.

    • Second Cut: Cuts the Exterior cut into the Matboard Counter-Clockwise: Reverse Bevel Opening.

      • The Drop is one of the categories within certain opening styles, like the initial section cut of an Open V-Groove.

      • However, it cannot be chosen as a standalone bevel type within the Design Editor.

  • Select Reverse Drop or Reverse Drop-Front of Mat from the Current Bevel Type dropdown control to edit the interior cut configuration.

  • Select Reverse Bevel or Reverse Bevel-Front of Mat from the Current Bevel Type dropdown control to edit the exterior cut configuration.
