The 52° Reverse Bevel Drop is created by cutting into the fallout surface with the blade angled at 52°, thereby slanting the bevel under the fallout surface, hiding the matboard core from the front. The Bevel Type refers to the angle at which the blade cuts the surface of the matboard when it deviates from the 90° right angle cut. The Drop is one of the categories within certain opening styles, like the initial section cut of an Open V-Groove. However, it cannot be chosen as a standalone bevel type within the Design Editor.
The Purple 52° Blade Cartridge is labeled “52” with a 52° Angle Symbol on the Cartridge end. Select Reverse Drop or Reverse Drop-Front of Mat from the Current Bevel Type dropdown control to edit this configuration.
