Control Points Definition

  • Control Points are the selectable dots in the corners of an object which can be used to Edit it.

Control Points are the dots in the corners of a selected object which can be used to Edit it.

Control Points in Designer are displayed as small Hollow Squares in the corners and middle points of the Object or the Bounding Rectangle of the Object(s).

If a group of objects are selected, the Group Leader has solid White Control Points. Hit PgUp/PgDn to cycle the Group Leader throughout the group openings.

The Control Point to the right side of the selected object is a Rotation Control Point which can be clicked and dragged to perform the Rotation of the object.

Control Points in Designer

Control Points in Trace are displayed as colored Dots on the Segments that make up the Object. Beginning/End Points are Blue and Center Points are Green. These can be toggled on/off in the Options menu.

Moving these Control Points will change the shape of the element being moved.

Control Points in Trace

Control Points on Bounding Rectangle are displayed as darker dots on the corners of the Bounding Rectangle of the selected Object that can be used to edit the object.
