The Normal Bevel Drop is created by cutting into the fallout surface with the blade angled at 45°/52°, thereby slanting the bevel away from the fallout surface, displaying the matboard core from the front.
The Drop is one of the categories within certain opening styles, like the initial section cut of an Open V-Groove.
However, it cannot be chosen as a standalone bevel type within the Design Editor.
Select Normal Drop or Normal Drop-Front of Mat from the Current Bevel Type Dropdown Control in the Configurations to edit this configuration.
The Reverse Bevel Drop is created by cutting into the fallout surface with the blade angled at 45°/52°, thereby slanting the bevel under the fallout surface, hiding the matboard core from the front.
The Drop is one of the categories within certain opening styles, like the initial section cut of an Open V-Groove.
However, it cannot be chosen as a standalone bevel type within the Design Editor.
Select Reverse Drop or Reverse Drop-Front of Mat from the Current Bevel Type Dropdown Control in the Configurations to edit this configuration.
