Vectorize Image in the Design Editor: Opening Tab
Use the Vectorize Image button of the Openings Tab on the Design Editor to turn a Rastor (Image) into a Vector (CMC-Usable Format) to apply as a Deboss, Pen or cut in Vinyl.
The Vectorize Image function in Trace has more extensive features which will also allow you to make the finished CutArt cuttable.
The Vectorize Image function in the Design Editor allows you to turn a Rastor (Image) into a Vector (Cuttable Format) to apply as a Deboss, Pen or cut in Vinyl.
On the Openings tab, click Vectorize Image.
The Auto Vectorize screen will open.
Click the Load button.
Navigate and click on the desired Image.
Click Open.
Select the desired tool type from the Tool Type dropdown control.
You can only Deboss, Pen or cut the design on Vinyl.
Enter the desired Width and Height.
Select the Keep Aspect Ratio checkbox to maintain the height/width proportions.
Vectorize Sensitivity
Use the Vectorize Sensitivity slidebar to vectorize the design.
Slide the bar until you obtain the desired vectorization.
Click OK.
It will prompt to save the design as a CutArt.
Select the desired location and filename.
Click Save to save the CutArt.
After the design is saved, the CutArt will be loaded into the Editor.
