Cutting a Box

  • When you have the box design entered, you can bring it to the Cut Preview in order to cut it.

  • Click on Cut on the Box editor to bring the box design to the Cut Preview.

  • Place the sheet of cardboard or other material onto the CMC. 

    • Make sure that the sheet is large enough for the design being cut.

  • Align the Head and click Cut.

  • Install the Deboss/Crease cartridge when prompted, select the correct Blade Depth, and click Continue.  

  • Install the 90° Cartridge when prompted and click Continue.

  • After the design has finished cutting, carefully remove the box design from the sheet.

  • Fold the pieces along the Deboss/Crease lines as instructed.

  • Some boxes have fold tabs, and some boxes require hot glue or other material to adhere the sides together.

 

Hot Glue May be Required on Some Boxes
  • The box design is finished. This shows the corner protector in place on a corner of a piece of framed artwork.
