The Cut Order section is where you can adjust the cut order of the design.  

The inside openings should be cut first, followed by the next opening outwards. The designs should also cut upwards starting from the bottom of the mat to keep the fallouts from previously cut mats falling in the way of the mats still being cut.

Click on the opening on the editor or click on the opening's name on the Cut Order pane on the panel on the right side of the screen.

Hold down the CTRL key to select multiple openings. The number in front of the design name displays which layer you are editing.

The opening(s) are selected.

Show Cut Order

Click Layout > Show Cut Order to display the cut order of the current Nesting layout.

The openings will display numbers that represent their cut order; i.e., opening number 1 will cut first.

Auto Cut Order

The Cut Order selection defaults to Auto being on. For some designs, the Auto setting might be fine and you can proceed to cutting the design.

Click the Auto Cut Order toggle to on.

This allows the software to set to the optimum cut order.

Optionally, click Layout > Auto Cut Order.

If you want to change the cut order manually, see Override the Cut Order below.

To manually adjust the cut order, click the Override toggle to on.

Click the Override toggle to on.

The cut order can now be manually changed.

See Auto Order or Change the Cut Order listed below to change the cut order of the openings.

Click the Auto Order button to have the system automatically adjust the openings to the optimum cut order.

Have the Override toggle on.

Click the Auto Order button to have the system automatically adjust the cut order. 

The cut order will automatically adjust.

Select the desired opening and click on the up or down arrow to move the selected opening up or down in the cut order.

Have the Override toggle on.

Select the desired opening.

Click on the Up or Down arrow to move the selected opening up or down in the cut order.

The opening moves in the desired direction in the cut order and the opening's cut order number is updated.
